Who We Are
The Digital Green Room is operated by RewindZone, based in Cambridge, United Kingdom. We are an editorial collaboration platform connecting established film and television professionals with the RewindZone editorial team.

What Information We Collect
Enquiry submissions — when you submit an enquiry via the Join Us page, we collect your name, email address, and any message content you provide.
Guest collaboration data — if you are invited to the Digital Green Room as a guest, we collect your written responses to editorial questions, any media files you upload (photographs, audio, video), and any biographical corrections or additions you provide.
Technical data — standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising pixels.
How We Use Your Information
Enquiry data is used solely to respond to your message and assess whether a collaboration is appropriate. It is not used for marketing, shared with third parties, or retained beyond the point it is no longer needed.
Guest collaboration data is used to produce your editorial profile and published feature on RewindZone. Your responses, corrections, and uploaded media form the basis of the published work. Nothing is published without your review and implicit approval through the Green Room process.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your data for advertising profiling of any kind.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Guest and enquiry data is stored in the following systems, all of which operate under appropriate data processing agreements:
- Google Sheets / Google Workspace — Guest records and enquiry submissions
- Supabase (PostgreSQL) — Profile data, filmography, and editorial content
- Cloudinary — Uploaded images, audio, and video files
- Vercel — Platform hosting and server infrastructure
All data is stored on servers within the European Economic Area or under Standard Contractual Clauses where transfers outside the EEA occur.
Third-Party Services
Profile pages are enriched using data from The Movie Database (TMDB) API. TMDB data is publicly available filmography and biographical information. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Profile enrichment also uses Google's Gemini AI API to synthesise publicly available information. No personal data entered by guests is passed to Gemini.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing, and request restriction of processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@rewindzone.com. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are a published guest and wish to have your profile removed or amended, contact us directly. We will action reasonable requests promptly.
Data Retention
Enquiry data is retained for up to 12 months from submission, or until the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled.
Guest collaboration data and published profile content is retained indefinitely as part of the editorial archive, unless a removal request is made.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current policy.
